For over 30 years Anika has been gently assisting people to heal and passionately empowering them towards their health and happiness. Anika is a multi-talented, highly-skilled and broadly-experienced therapist and intuitive healer. She enjoys facilitating healing for others using her extensive knowledge of many and varied healing therapies in a gentle, caring and supportive way.

Anika has a Diploma from the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice and in order to fine tune her intuitive skills, has also studied Intuitive Healing and Medical Intuition with gifted mentors around the world, and arguably some of the very best instructors in Australia.

Anika has always had an enormous capacity for love and compassion for those around her. She was always caring for others and for animals, and it became obvious in her childhood that she was intuitive; often knowing things relating to the health of her family and friends that she couldn’t possibly have any knowledge of without specialised training – and yet her observations were correct and her advice helpful. Although very active, Anika suffered from many serious health concerns growing up, which only intensified as she grew.

Her cultural background meant she was much sought after to work and train staff for many large corporations which, while fine-tuning her organizational and management skills, the pressures and responsibilities involved caused her several serious and debilitating illnesses; a couple which nearly ended her life.

During these difficult times, alongside seeking medical help, Anika sought her own healing. Her path led her to study the mechanics of physical, emotional, mental, biochemical and even spiritual and energetic healing, and she learned how to recover her body and her health from many debilitating conditions, from crippling anxiety to bouts of depression, from adrenal exhaustion to chronic fatigue, and more.

A turning point in her life arrived in the first 5 minutes of her first kinesiology session. There to seek healing from the loss of her child, Anika was amazed at her body revealing all its stresses, and choosing its own choices for healing.

Anika could see that this was a truly holistic therapy that honoured every single aspect of a person, from the physical body, the mind, emotions and the spirit; and after some amazing and unpredictable recoveries assisted by Kinesiology, she knew she would become a Kinesiologist and help others this way; testing the body and translating the messages from the body to assist others to heal with this gentle, body-led healing method.

This knowledge and experience of her own recovery has proven vital in assisting others with a deep understanding in recovering from traumas, both physical and emotional.

Over the years, having studied many modalities, Anika has come to realise and appreciate the inter-connectedness of all parts of a person, of the mind-body connection and how we are indivisible from any part of our selves. She came to develop the Health Discovery Technique and establish Australia’s first Integrated Healing Clinic, whose aim it is to not only provide the therapies that help assist most conditions to heal, but most importantly: to formulate them in a way that is individually effective for themselves.

Complimenting her PKP Diploma are her studies in nutrition, herbs, therapeutic essential oils and vibrational remedies; as well as her caring nature and her intuitive sight and feeling. Her focus is to help others come out of just existing and begin thriving, to go from being on auto-pilot, to uncover and life their authentic self in every way. She considers it a great honour to walk a person’s healing journey alongside them.

Anika is also an entertaining, engaging and sought after teacher and presenter. She has the innate ability to impart complex topics in a light and easy way that’s simple to understand; often using humour in the process. She is currently writing workshops on nutrition, sabotaging subconscious beliefs and emotional understanding and self-healing.

‘I invite you to experience the empowerment of Kinesiology, to discover what your body individually requires to assist you back to health and happiness. I bring all my skills and experiences and place them at the disposal of your body’s inner wisdom. You are in charge, and I am honoured to assist you on your journey of
healing and self discovery.’ Anika.

Cert IV Professional Kinesiology Practitioner

Masters Law (Fr), Diploma Life Coaching

Languages: English, Spanish & French.

Today, many people suffer from stress. It can be related to work, relationships, finances etc. The physical body gives us warning signs that something is out of balance. I was under immense stress for many years, without any relief. I studied a Master’s Degree in Law and started to practice, but I continued to feel stuck in my life. I discovered Kinesiology through my own personal healing journey, and fell in love with it. The discovery of kinesiology for me has been an enormous help and blessing. It changed my whole life for the better, creating a life of joy, peace and freedom. A life in which I can recognise myself and in which my days are joyful and meaningful.

Life can be a beautiful journey, it is meant to be meaningful, happy, abundant and free of emotional, mental or physical pain. Kinesiology helped make my life happy. Sharing Kinesiology with others makes me and others happy. It is why I am so passionate about it and would love to share it with you.  Kinesiology is safe and totally non-invasive. The only risk you take is getting better.

In Kinesiology I work together with you as a team, and we set a goal for you. A goal to boost your potential for success in any area of your life. The session is termed a ‘balance’ and you leave feeling balanced about an issue. Sometimes it is not easy to answer the question: “what do I want?”. This is where my knowledge (in Life Coaching), my skills (in Kinesiology) and my talent (in Energetic healing) will support you. Together with your body, we will reduce the stress connected with this goal and increase the energy you have to achieve it.

After discovering Kinesiology during my own healing journey, I studied at the “The Byron Kinesiology Centre and Australian Wellness Centre” with Parijat Wismer and have been taught the Internationally recognized training in kinesiology founded by Dr Bruce and Joan Dewe. I have been balancing people and assisting them to overcome various conditions.

The most regular feedback I receive from my clients is: “thank you for your sensitivity and your kindness” and “I felt supported through my healing process and you have made me feel empowered to deal with my deepest issues”.

Life is made up of opportunities and encounters. I invite you to take the opportunity to work on your journey of self-discovery being supported by a skilled facilitator.

“Some people are just old souls. Even though Julie is young, she has such wisdom it’s incredible. She also has a lot of gentleness, love and respect for others, and is very focussed on success in her work. I think this is what makes her very talented and an effective therapist for me.” Maria B.

Catherine Varley

Bachelor of Health Science, Degree in Acupuncture

Modalities: Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Cupping, AnMo TuiNa (Chinese Remedial Massage Therapy), Reiki and Spiritual Massage

Born in Victoria and raised in Queensland, Catherine, the youngest of 7 children, saw much hardship in her early years. Then at the young age of 16, she suffered a traumatic car accident which resulted in a broken pelvis and injured knee and shoulder. She was introduced to martial arts to help heal her body and went on to become a black belt in martial arts. This introduced her to the eating healthy whole foods, Buddhist concepts and spirituality. This was Catherine’s first experience into the body’s capacity to heal itself.

Catherine married and had 4 children, her third child was, unfortunately stillborn. Her family lived naturally and with the laws of permaculture to assist in bringing up healthy children. However, this proved to be not enough. When her children had serious health challenges, she was introduced to acupuncture to help them get well. The first instance was when her son contracted glandular fever aged 12. Acupuncture provided amazing results for his health. In many cases Western medicine could not help resolve problems with her children’s’ health, but acupuncture always helped them turn the corner back to health. A few years later, Catherine suffered a health crisis due to enormous marital stress,

A few years later, Catherine suffered a health crisis due to enormous marital stress, separation and divorce. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine was responsible for getting her health back on track, both physically and emotionally. It was at this point Catherine decided to go to college and dedicate herself to this wonderful and amazing ancient science so that she could, in turn assist others. She enrolled in her degree and several years later graduated with her Bachelor of Health Science degree in Acupuncture.

Catherine understands and values the very important place “Western” medicine has in our society, but equally believes acupuncture and Chinese medicine is its own system of medicine, rooted in thousands of years of observation, herbal medicine and acupuncture practice. Seeing the results her clients achieve, Catherine revels in how Chinese medicine comes to life in our modern world – making it the perfect healthcare choice for the men and women she consults with to support their fertility, IVF process, pregnancy or menopausal transition.

During her years as a student, Catherine worked for and was mentored by Conceive’s founder, Peter Kington, in Brisbane. During this time and since she has graduated, Catherine has attended countless professional development seminars with some of the world’s foremost Chinese medicine scholars and clinical experts. In addition, Catherine completed her internship at the Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine University in Guangxi, China.

In 2015, Catherine combined her full-time clinical practice with completing her Master of Applied Science (Chinese Herbal Medicine) at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), majoring in the clinical application of Chinese herbal medicine. Most recently she has completed studies with some of the world’s foremost leaders in acupuncture for pain relief. This specialised type of acupuncture produces highly effective results and Catherine is excited to be incorporating this into her work to give clients optimal clinical outcomes.

As part of her practice, Catherine works with her clients to develop healthy eating habits to support their fertility, pregnancy or other health issues. In addition to her fertility and pregnancy work, Catherine has a special interest in helping people who are living with chronic pain or insomnia, and women moving through the menopausal transition.
Catherine has also studied Reiki and Spiritual Healing Massage, and studied as well as taught meditation for many years.

“I love acupuncture as I see that it assists heal the body on both physical and emotional levels. I am inspired by the results I see when I treat my clients. Whether I see clients for pain, fertility, digestive issues or just a bad bout of the flu, seeing my clients walk out feeling better than when they walked in is a major testament to the healing nature of acupuncture. I see stressed out people walk in and relaxed people walk out. I believe that stress is one of the major causes of disharmony in our world. Anyone with any health issue will have a component of stress as the issue. So whilst working on your health issues, your nervous system will also be brought back into harmony.”

When she’s not working, you’ll find Catherine tending her veggie patch or enjoying the salt air at the beach in her little slice of paradise in northern NSW. A passionate home chef, Catherine enjoys cooking wholesome food to be shared amongst dear friends from near and far. Catherine is always happy to chat with you before you make the decision to consult with her.

“I am always honoured to have the opportunity to help someone get well, or conceive a child, and look forward to helping my clients back to optimum health as soon as possible!” Catherine
